Cooking Competition!(Fellowship Hall)

A fun competition to see which teams can get creative and make something tasty out of the ingredients/recipes/tools we give you. No prior cooking experience necessary. Free-will donations to help cover the cost of ingredients gratefully accepted. This time we’ll kick it up a notch with some extra challenges and wacky ingredients!

Saturday, 10/27

9:00am - ?  5th – 8thGrades

Mt. Major Hike(Leaving from the First Parish Church Sanctuary)

No hiking experience necessary; we’re not climbing Everest, I promise! Bring a backpack with lunch, at least two water bottles, rain gear (just in case!) and a change of socks. WEAR CLOSE-TOED, CLOSE-HEELED OUTDOOR SHOES. We’ll take one trail up the mountain, eat lunch, take a different trail back down, and drive back to First Parish whenever we’re done. It won’t take all day, I assure you, only a couple hours. It is an hour drive to get there, so we’ll text the fam our ETA before we head back. If your family would like to be on a Youth Group email list, please contact Pastor Dan Hollis at dan@firstparishyork.net. There will be contextual updates/reminders emailed for each upcoming event as it approaches. Please let Pastor Dan know if you have any youth planning on coming to a given event in advance to aid the planning process.

Youth Group events are open to youth not affiliated with FPC, so bringing friends is encouraged!

Anyone interested in joining our rotating team of volunteer chaperones is welcome to reach out to Pastor Dan! It's a simple and fun way to ensure the safety of the youth in our community.
