First Parish seeks to provide a growing array of life-changing experiences for children and youth of all ages. Growth, learning, self-discovery, faith-formation, team-building, and relational skills are among the priorities of our varied ministries. Whether in diapers or getting ready for college, First Parish provides safe, caring, and non-judgmental space for children and youth to thrive as they feel out their place in the world.
Sunday School and Nursery
During Sunday worship, parents and guardians are welcome to either make use of the infant and toddler nursery care we provide or to have the children remain in church for the entire service. The service itself includes a children's message and opportunities for kids to be involved in liturgy. Children grades 4 through 7 are escorted to Sunday School following the children's message for an active and engaging curriculum that involves multiple learning styles and keeps everyone on their toes!
