This will not be the most inspirational Oasis message, but I wanted to share some important information. We are open for worship! Please join us at 9:30am, no signups or distancing required. Summer is typically a quieter time at First Parish Church, and with the continuing evolution of our transitions from pandemic-mode into business-as-usual-mode, you may be wondering how to connect with your pastors right now, or how accessible they may be! Here are the best ways to get in touch with Pastors Eric and Dan in the immediate future:

Pastor Dan: Email dan@firstparishyork.net or call the church office (207-363-3758), which can forward you to his office phone or voicemail. Be aware that if Pastor Dan isn’t in his office, he may call you back from what appears to Caller ID as a “Portland, ME” number—he promises he is not a telemarketer! Pastor Dan is fully vaccinated and happy to schedule a time to talk with you in-person, over the phone, or via Zoom—whichever works best for your life and schedule. Pastor Dan’s day off is Monday, and you typically won’t be able to reach him then.

Pastor Eric: Email eric@firstparishyork.net or call the church office (207-363-3758), which can forward you to his office phone or voicemail. Pastor Eric is also fully vaccinated and happy to schedule a time to talk with you in-person, over the phone, or via Zoom. Beginning tomorrow Pastor Eric will also be at an outside table at Bagel Basket (280 York St.) between 9-9:45am each remaining Thursday in June unless it is raining. Feel free to stop by for a coffee or just to touch base. Eric’s day off is Friday, and you typically won’t be able to reach him then.

The Church Office: For June and July, the church office will function as it has been recently. Betty will come in Wednesday mornings and work from home on the other days. To connect with her, send an email or call the church office and leave a message. She will be back to you promptly. The present plan is to reopen the office August 17th at which time the office will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am-2pm.
