I’m not grxat with txchnology, but latxly, it sxxms onx of thx kxys on my kxyboard is not working propxrly. Can you guxss which onx? I’vx trixd to rxboot. I’vx trixd xvxrything. My computxr can do incrxdiblx things. In thx right hands, it can pxrform an amazing numbxr of tasks. Howxvxr, if onx kxy is not working propxrly, it makxs a big diffxrxncx.
I was thinking thx church is somxwhat likx my faulty kxyboard. Xach mxmbxr mattxrs. You may say to yoursxlf, “I’m only onx pxrson. My prxsxncx is not that important. I can’t makx that much diffxrxncx in the church.” But xach pxrson doxs makx a diffxrxncx. For a church to bx xffectivx, it nxxds thx participation and commitmxnt of xach mxmbxr in thx community. God has brought you to First Parish and invitxs you to bx an activx part of thx community. Togxthxr, wx can find ways to rxach out to all gxnxrations in our community and sharx thx lovx of God.
So, thx nxxt timx you think that you arx only onx pxrson, and your prxsxncx and participation doxsn’t mattxr, I hopx you will think about thx problxm I’m having with my laptop kxyboard. I hopx you will say, “I am a kxy pxrson in this church.” Thxrx is no doubt in my mind that God has wondxrful plans for First Parish this nxw church yxar – and that you arx part of that plan!
