We want to make sure you know of volunteer opportunities and ways of becoming involved in various ministries. There is definitely something for everyone! There are one time needs that are announced by e-mail and in church.

  • Provide housing for a visiting choir
  • Bake or serve for a special event
  • Set up for a church function
  • Help in the kitchen after a dinner
  • Do spring clean up, inside and out
  • Paint
  • Do general construction work
  • Act in a play
  • Make phone calls

 

There are regularly scheduled activities that are announced in our monthly newsletter, Sunday bulletin and by e-mail.

  • Join a Bible Study
  • Join a Book Group
  • Join a Lunch Break Study Group
  • Join Women's Fellowship
  • Join Men's Fellowship
  • Participate in a Mission Trip
  • Join a Youth Group
  • Help with Colonial Market at Marketfest
  • Food drive for local food pantry

 

There are ongoing activities that are often looking for new volunteers. Call the Church Office (207-363-3758) to learn more and to sign up to participate.

  • Teach or assist in teaching Church School
  • Volunteer in the Nursery
  • Help out with Children's Choir
  • Help with a Youth Group
  • Sing in the choir and/or play an instrument
  • Play in the Bell Choir
  • Assist in Meals on Wheels
  • Cook for our Meals Ministry
  • Work at Table of Plenty (community meal)
  • Serve on a committee
  • Chaperone on a youth mission trip
  • Help with DVD Ministry
  • Provide computer skills
  • Be a greeter before services
  • Prepare & serve refreshments for coffee hour between services
  • Help with office mailings
